Thank you for sharing your observation.
Yes, this issue only affects those who have the new Facebook layout. This is a known bug already documented in this bug ticket: https://bugzilla.flock.com/show_bug.c... .
The reason I've asked HappyHarryNet and Stewart A. Irwin is just to make sure we were all referring to the same issue, and not something else :-)
In any case, our developers are currently working on a fix for this new Facebook issue. We hope to have it out soon.

Hi,
Here's a way to do so:
- login to Facebook and/or Twitter
- view the RSS panel in Flock (the page where all your Feeds articles are listed)
- open the People sidebar, and view the service of your choice (Facebook or Twitter)
- drag the title of the article (that you want to share) into your MeCard (the area in the sidebar with your Facebook/Twitter information)
--> This will post the article on your Facebook profile page or as a link within your Twitter tweet.

Are you referring to the orange bar that appears whenever you visit a web page on which Flock detects some RSS? Is it the message bar (#1) in this screenshot (http://i45.tinypic.com/douyqx.jpg), or are you referring to the icons #2 or #3?
If it's the message bar (#1 in the screenshot), have you tried select the "Don't show this again" checkbox?

We're sorry to hear your frustration... But could you please tell us if you're currently using Facebook's old or new layout (even if you don't have a layout problem)?
a) if your Facebook account has the new layout (easy way to tell: the search box is in the top middle of the page), then this is a known issue, as stated in this post: http://getsatisfaction.com/flock/topi...

b) if your Facebook account still has the old layout (easy way to tell: the search box is on the top right corner of the page), then please:
- forget your Facebook account from the Accounts and Services sidebar
- clear your Facebook cookies
- close Flock
- install and run Flock 2.5.6, downloadable from www.flock.com
- log back in to Facebook and see if you still see the issue
- if you still see the issue, please disable any extensions and themes you might have. Please, let us know if the problem persists in a new post, as this thread only concerns Facebook accounts with the new Facebook layout (eventhough the layout is fine on a Facebook page)

A solution would be to make a copy of your profile (http://flock.com/faq/show/64#q_61799) and somehow have it on your other computer. To do so, we'd suggest to use an USB flashdrive, http://www.yousendit.com/ , https://www.dropbox.com/ or any other method that would allow you to move a possible large file from one computer to another.

Could you please follow the instructions in our user guide (http://flock.com/user-guide/2.5/advma...) and let us know if that resolves your issue?
If you'd like to use an external webmail application (such as Microsoft Outlook, or Thunderbird, etc), please check its settings and make sure it's set to the default email program. Then follow the instructions in the "Work With Multiple Webmail Accounts" section of the above user-guide page.
